Inaugural Koraes Lecture, Athens
We are very pleased to announce that the first Koraes Lecture will be given in Athens on 25 October. Professor Beaton, Koraes Chair of Modern Greek and Byzantine History, Language and Literature, will give the lecture, entitled The new Prometheus: why Byron went to fight in the Greek Revolution.
